From New Mexico’s troubled Borderland comes a modern adventure by Bill Wehner
Rudely awakened at 4:07 AM,
John Henry Clay answered his telephone.
Julie Stensvahl, 15 year old daughter of his one-time friend Dub was
missing in the 200,000 acre Mimbres Wilderness.
Dub had been shot and was in critical condition in the Silver City
Hospital. Not knowing if her
daughter was alive or dead, Dub’s ex-wife begged John Henry to find her.
Clay’s effort to track her plays out against the backdrop of escalating drug
wars and violence spilling over from the border areas of Mexico.
The urgency of finding Julie increases dramatically as winter weather
threatens, and John Henry discovers she is being tracked by someone else as
well.
From Columbus, Deming,
Silver City and the wilderness of New Mexico, readers will get a taste of the
landscape and the folks who inhabit this area.
The twists and turns of the story will keep you reading until the final
page.

Dear Friend,
West Wind Fiction and One
More Chapter Publishing are pleased to announce a new borderland adventure novel
by Bill Wehner. The action takes
place in New Mexico’s southwestern wilderness area, and captures not only the
local back-country flavor, but introduces the reader to a number of
drawn-from-life Frontera residents.
While new to fiction, Wehner
has been writing for publication for over 40 years; he has created memorable
characters in his novel, Tracking Julie Stensvahl.
We are offering a rare
opportunity – the author will sign each book ordered with any short dedication
you wish. Need ideas for gifts?
This is it. In addition, the
author is donating $2.00 of each book sale to the
Scholarship Fund of the International
Cessna 170 Association
